Pomerelle Announces End-of-Season Plans
For immediate release                  March 2017

It’s time to celebrate one of Pomerelle Mountain Resort’s biggest snow years with a splash! Pomerelle has announced its end-of-season schedule, Spring Break discounts and the final weekend party plans. “We are planning on holding our Pond Skim/Slush Cup on April 1st this year,” said Gretchen Anderson, spokeswoman. “That is, if we get enough entries,” she added. The area needs at least 30 participants in order for the event to be held. The deadline for signing up is Friday, March 24th at 4pm. Register by phone, 208-673-5599, at Pomerelle or pomerelle.com. If the interest is not there, guests will be issued refunds and the resort will hold it’s annual costume party/contest regardless.

Pomerelle will operate daily, 9am-4pm, thru March 26th. The area will be closed mid-week, March 27, 28, 29 and 30. The mountain will reopen March 31st and celebrate the season on Saturday, April 1st and remain open on Sunday, the 2nd for final turns. If Old Man Winter makes a return, there could be a bonus weekend for skiers and riders. Announcements will be made on pomerelle.com and Pomerelle’s Facebook page.

To finish out the season, Pomerelle has a major food drive planned, March 21st--26th and March 31st – April 2nd. Guests are invited to bring TWO cans or two dry goods (like pasta) of unexpired food to the Pomerelle ticket office in exchange for a discounted day ticket. (See attached calendar.) All of the donated food will be given to the Helping Hands Mission, in Burley to assist them in re-stocking the food pantry.
