Here is what Pomerelle is doing in response to Covid-19

~Skiing & snowboarding are healthy activities for the mind, body and soul~

Late November Greetings from Pomerelle Mountain!

We are so excited to open for the season and welcome you back! But, first we want to make certain you know about Pomerelle’s guidelines concerning health/safety protocols for 2020-21. Here is what Pomerelle is doing in response to Covid-19:

Our goal is to operate daily and nightly, with no disruption in recreational service. This will take effort from you, our community, as well as our staff, to keep us operational. In an effort to provide you with a safe experience, we must keep our employees healthy. All employees will undergo a health screening at the beginning of each shift. Any employee not meeting our requirements will be sent home. All employees will also wear masks/face coverings, inside or when/where they can’t physically distance.

During past seasons, our lodge could become overcrowded. This year, we encourage you to make your vehicle your meeting space for putting on your equipment, gathering for lunch or dinner, etc. Please help us by spending minimal time in the lodge. We will strictly enforce our policy of no coolers, bags, backpacks, or gear in the lodge.  If in the lodge, masks/face coverings will be required in all areas. Masks will be available for guests. Guests will be required to provide physical distancing from other guests outside their bubble. Masks/face coverings will be required on the mountain, except for while skiing or snowboarding and when eating or drinking, (if in the lodge.) To limit the spread of Coronavirus to our recreational community, Pomerelle does not allow exceptions to these rules.

We are planning a streamlined food service with grab & go meals, Tailgating Packs and our popular, outdoor Slope Side Grill will operate with additional hours. Additionally, you can expect hand sanitizing stations located throughout the area plus deck heaters for outdoor seating.

Response to the Covid-19 virus is evolving. We will continue to monitor NSAA and the CDC recommendations. We will continue to share our plans, as they develop.

As a courtesy to anyone who is already in possession of a 2020-2021 season pass, you will have until December 15, 2020, to roll your pass over to the 2021-2022 season if you are not comfortable skiing or riding this season for any reason.

Again, it is our goal to provide the winter recreational activities we all know and love! After all, skiing and snowboarding are healthy activities for the mind, body and soul! We will need your support and cooperation to safely enjoy another wonderful season. From all of us at Pomerelle, we look forward to welcoming you on the mountain this season.
