Pomerelle Mountain - Monday, July 03, 2017

Go-Ride.com & Salamander Racing and Bohemian Brewing
invite you to the
2017 Pomerelle Pounder

The mountain is open to EVERYONE.  Great spectator sport!

At the end of the month, mountain bike racers will traverse the hills at Pomerelle Mountain Resort. The popular recreation area, south of Burley, Idaho will host the 23rd Annual Pomerelle Pounder, one of the oldest bike races in the Gem State.

Pomerelle will be open Friday, Saturday and Sunday, July 28th-30th to ALL the PUBLIC from noon-6pm (with extended hours for competitors). “This is one of the few opportunities to enjoy Pomerelle this summer,” said Gretchen Anderson, marketing director. “We want all hikers, bikers and burger eaters to visit during the Pomerelle Pounder.” The resort is open only for special events this summer.

Produced by the USA Cycling, Go Ride, Salamander Racing and Bohemian Brewing, the racers and spectators alike will love the challenging drops and sweet rock garden sections of the downhill races at Pomerelle. The Pounder uses an exciting, one-mile course that descends 1,000 vertical feet.

Online Registration: www.utahdh.org. There are absolutely NO SUNDAY registrations.

Pomerelle’s Slopeside Grill will open at 8 a.m. each day with Mountain Man (and woman) burritos for breakfast, and other offerings for lunch and dinner.
